I am super-thrilled to announce that I have finally completed, updated and uploaded the new and improved version of The Golden God of Aiolia!

(The fact that this is exactly 180 days after I announced I wanted to update it is galling, however...)

The new version includes a much more interesting motivation for Deidameia of Scyros!

And--perhaps more importantly?--includes three interactive sequences, and this time I managed to actually write a battle scene for the big battle around the middle of the novel.

The fact that I had somehow managed to skip that the first time around is shocking even to me.

Now that I've gotten that done, I can finally get back to work on The Martial Maenads, book three in the series.  I already gave it a new draft this past spring, but it still needs at least one more.  But I do hope to have it released by spring of 2023!

(In case anyone's curious as to what took so long to get this small-but-crucial modification made, the problem is that I had promised to help write a visual novel for someone else.  One set in ancient China, a setting that I had minimal knowledge of.  (Basically, at the time I agreed to help, I pretty much only knew what one could glean from the Dynasty Warriors games.  So, virtually nothing.)  I had to do a lot of research before I could even start writing, and the first attempt at writing it went disastrously wrong, so we had to start over with a modified focus, splitting off the original premise into two games.  I've now finished the first draft of the script for the first game, and plan to work on the second one after The Martial Maenads is released.  If anyone's interested in a gay romance set in ancient China, just say the word and I'll let you know when the game is released!  :D  Could take a while to get all the necessary background art, though...)
