Ebook downloads now available

Thanks to a flash of inspiration (if that's the right word) last night, I remembered that AO3 gives you the choice of downloading a fic in ebook form.  So, since Scions of Troy was already posted there anyway, I took advantage of that feature to provide .pdf, .epub and .mobi versions of the non-interactive form of the novel here on itch.io.  :)

Thanks to that feature, I'm definitely not going to bother trying to post the novels to a website or whatever; I'm just going to keep posting them on AO3 as they're ready, and then putting the auto-generated ebooks here on itch.

As to book two, the rewrite for NaNoWriMo was mostly a success.  There are still a few spots that need work, and I may want to adjust the characterization a little further (if my meager skills will allow it), but the new draft is overall a massive step forwards.  I hope to get it polished up and ready to start posting early next year.  (I know last time I said I hoped to post it in December, but...I started working on another game in the interim...)

I'm still not sure about if there will be a game version of The Golden God of Aiolia, however.  It's going to depend on how things go for me with the game I'm working on right now for February's Yandere Jam.  It's the visual prototype for what I would want to do with visual/kinetic novel versions of the Atalanta and Ariadne series (i.e., I want it to look like a Mycenaean fresco) but it remains to be seen if I'll be able to achieve what I need successfully.  As doing one of these novels would be much more demanding, I don't want to even think about it until I'm sure it's something I could handle.  If I feel I absolutely can't do a visual/kinetic novel version, I might try to do a TWINE version like this one, though.  There's just something fun about the process that an ebook can't match up to, even though it's the same text.

Anyway, just wanted to update anyone who's curious!  (And also to make sure to call attention to the arrival of the ebooks, obviously.)  I hope everyone has a pleasant December and year's end!  :D
