CGs!

I'm excited to be able to announce that there are finally CGs for the good and medium endings!  I won't post the whole images here for obvious reasons, but here's a teaser of the good end CG:

The CGs are by the talented sumanaicomplexx.

I'm also pleased to be able to report that I actually thought to make saves before updating the code, and can confirm that the saves from the previous version are compatible with this new version.  (Since I only added two images and changed one particularly grievous text error I stumbled across in the process, it would have been weird if they didn't work, but I'm still glad I'm able to say that I actually tested it this time.)

This finally makes the game feel a bit more like a finished product, which I'm glad of, since at this point I doubt I'll even start writing the expanded version until sometime in 2023.  My plan at the moment for the expanded version is to alternate between Pat's narrative and sequences following other characters, primarily Hector and A.J., though I'm not sure if those would also be in first person, or if they'd be in a close third person POV.  (I'll want at least one co-writer when the time comes, and will have to commission BGs, since I'll want all of them to match stylistically, plus sprites for the new characters, so it's going to be quite the undertaking...)  However, I still don't feel like I have enough details of what I want to happen in the expanded version to start writing, or even to start looking for people to work with on it.

--EDIT--

....and eight hours later I just noticed I forgot to mark the little check boxes for the different operating systems when I uploaded the new build.  (Which I had already forgotten to give a new version number before compiling the build...)  Ugh, I am dumb.

Huh...I have no idea why the .gif I uploaded onto the main page is doing that.  :(  I thought they'd just put a thumbnail...

(BTW, if anyone happens to remember that in the previous devlog I mentioned I was doing a game for Yandere Jam, that game has been cancelled due to a terrible script and worse art.  (That's what I get for trying to do the art myself, lol!)  I'm doing a kinetic novel for Ace Jam instead.  Better script, and I'm using other people's assets (mostly intended for RPG Maker, but...), so it looks pretty.)
